Hey,

My name is Sebastiaan Viaene, I’m 15 years old and I am a wakeboarder. I live in Lendelede in a small town next to Izegem where I board in the I.W.V.(Izegemse Watersport Vereniging), also the club of Michael Callebert. During the Summer season, in vacations and on week-ends I wakeboard with my dad almost every day. In Winter I do indoor Snowboard in Komen.

I am a rider since 4 years. I started waterskiing since I was 8 year. At the age of 12 my parents bought me my first wakeboard. My dad always had a boat, but we change our boat two years ago to a ‘Sea Ray 200 select’ with a tower for wakeboarding. Then I really got started. At first I tried out some tricks. After the first season I jumped wake to wake with some grabs and a 180. My fist boar was a ‘Liquid force Team’. This year I ride with a PS3 from liquid Force. Last year I learned a lot of tricks during my wakeboard camps where I was instructed by Olivier Delefortrie in l’eau d’Heure and from Christophe Meersschaert in Bossuit. Last year I finished my season with third place at Belgium champion ship for boys. My first competition was the Flanders open earlier in July 2006.

My dreams for this season are:

=>taking part at so many possible competitions my parents will allow me

=>doing a back roll, a tantrum, 540, scarecrow front side and who knows hopefully many more…

=>To be champion of Belgium.

=>But most of al I would like to enjoy myself and make so many friends as possible over whole of Europe and having lots of fun.

WAKEBOARDING IS MY LIFE, MY PASSION !!
